The plugs themselves feel tough and durable, like they'll actually hold up. I haven't had to use it on the road yet (thankfully!), but I did a practice run on an old tire I had. It all fits neatly into a little box that I can just toss in my trunk. It doesn't take up any space, and it gives me a real sense of security knowing it's there. It covers so many different vehicles, too, which is a nice bonus. It's definitely a peace-of-mind purchase that I'd recommend to anyone.
