philodendron inaequilaterum Philodendron cf. inaequilaterumSpecies from Central and northern South America. It is sometimes referred to as the "Paper Philodendron" due to the thin substance of the leaves. This does not seem to indicate its tolerance of low humidity (or lack thereof). I have grown this species in terraria, outdoors in a warm, shady spot, and in a greenhouse. It should also do well in a home environment if given the opportunity to acclimate. This is cosmetic due to proximity to the light on the plant racks.
