2010 Registrations Information

Eastwood St Andrew's AFC Inc is affiliated with the Gladesville-Hornsby Football
Association. The Club caters for all levels of ability, with teams from U/6 to Premier League, and provides weekly coaching on Eastwood Oval.

To complete registration each player must provide;

1. Print and fill in a Registration Form.
2. Print and sign an Accident Support Form (available from Forms and Documents).
   Please complete and sign the section at the bottom of page 1.
   Print name of player, print club (Eastwood St Andrews), select student/adult and sign (parents sign on behalf of players under age of 16).
3. All players must register in person for player card photograph.
4. New Players to must show proof of age.
5. Payment of fees.

    

Note: New player cards will be issued by GHFA and all NEW players require a photo to be taken at registration.

Both the forms are available from the Resources menu. Select 'Forms' from the menu.

Proof of age is required for all players registering to play for the first time with Eastwood St Andrews. A birth certificate, passport or similar documentation is to be sighted by the club.

All students from U19 to PL are to provide the club with a copy of their student ID cards which you will be forwarded to GHFA, copies of all students cards are to be at the Association by 30th April or they will be charged as a workers for insurance. Student ID cards must be sighted when registering.

Players that have played for a club outside of GHFA at any time in the past 3 years are required to provide clearance from their previous club. Provision of clearance means you have paid all your fees and have no outstanding suspensions. Please contact the registrar at your previous club to obtain this information, give it to your team's coach or manager, who will then pass it on to the Eastwood St Andrews Registrar.

Registration fees for 2010 are as follows:

Full time students must present student ID

Insurance claims may be invalidated if a player claims a student deduction when the player is working.

Age group for all teams is determined by the age the player turns in 2010. For example, players who turn 9 between 1 January 2010 and 31 December 2010 play under 9 this year.

The Club will provide each player with one pair of socks after payment of fees.

Club coloured shorts are available for purchase from the canteen on Registration day.

Additional club coloured shorts and socks can be purchased throughout the season from Eastwood St Andrews.

A family rate applies for 3 players or more.

Players are required to provide their own boots, shin pads and club coloured shorts (shorts available for purchase through the club). Eastwood St Andrews provides the team shirts as part of the team kit.

The Gladesville Hornsby Football Association (GHFA) Competition commences for all teams on TO BE ADVISED. The competition draw will not be available until shortly before this date.

Senior team registrations

Ensure this information is read in full

For senior teams (under 19s, AA and O35's), the Club will requires the following;

1. A minimum of 8 players registered and fully paid up by the end of registration on Sunday 7th Februrary

2. All players registering must register in person with all relevant documents and payments

3. Team bond of $100.00 to be paid by the end of registration on Sunday 7th Februrary

4. A manager nominated and registered with the club by the end of registration on Sunday 7th Februrary

NB. Teams that have completed the above but withdraw prior to the season will be liable for the nomination fee - equivalent to 3 x Competition fee for a player in the grade nominated (as per GHFA Rules and By-Laws)

NB. All students from U19 to PL are to bring their Student ID card on Registration to be sighted and provide the club with a copy of their student ID card which will be forwarded on to GHFA. Players with copies not received by the Association by 30th April will be charged as a workers for insurance.

Senior Team Security Bond

Each senior team will be required to pay a security bond of $100.00 (as mentioned above). This security bond will be held by the Club and returned at the request of the team manager to the team manager, less any deductions, at the conclusion of the season. Teams carrying fines from previous seasons may need their bond increased to cover the shortfall of the outstanding fines. The security bond can be held by the Club for the following season if that is the team's preference. Deductions from the security bond may include:

• Any fines levied on the Club by the GHFA on behalf of that team. The fees and fines levied by GHFA can be found in the GHFA Rules and By-Laws for 2010

• Replacement cost of lost equipment provided by the Club (shirts, bags, bibs, cones etc)

• Any other expenses borne by the Club on behalf of that team

Any team exceeding their bond during the season will be asked to 'top-up' the bond in $100.00 increments

Clarifying the registration and nomination of Senior teams:

Jim has 14 friends who would like to play football and he wishes to enter a team in the All Age 20 competition playing for Eastwood St Andrews. In this example, we will say registrations are $300.00 per player.

By the end of 7th Februrary, Jim will provide the Club on behalf of his team with a minimum of $2,500 (made up of 8 x $300 for registration fees plus $100 for security bond) or else his team will not be nominated for the competition.

By the end of March, Jim will provide the Club with $1,800(the remaining 6 players registration fees) or else his team will be withdrawn from the competition.

Any payments prior to these dates will of course be accepted by the Club.
