This year’s photos will be taken on Saturday 19 May. The following roster has been prepared to enable you to get either to or from your games with plenty of time to spare. Please do not swap times with other teams or turn up earlier/later because it “suits you better”.

1.All photos will be taken on the Top Oval at Eastwood.

2.Photos are not free and are not included in your Registration fees i.e. there is a small fee for a team photo with the option for an individual photo.

Coaching Clinics for 2012

There are number of coaching clinics being run across the Association. 

The key resource for the dates are available from the GHFA website.

All Under 6, Under 7 and Under 8 coaches are to attend a Grass Roots Course prior to start of season. 

The Grass Roots Course is free.

All parents of Junior players who are registered as coaches or managers; or are aspiring coaches can nominate to attend the clinics. Minimum one weeks notice must be sent to our club so we can inform GHFA with names and numbers of attendees.

 

Grass Roots Courses:

6th March 6:30-9:00pm at Normanhurst Oval

7th March 6:30-9:00pm at Thomas Thompson Park

13th March 6:30-9:00pm at Baronia Park Epping

20th March 6:30-9:00pm at Glenhaven Oval

21st March 6:30-9:00pm at Gladesville Reserve

27 March 6:30-9:00pm at West Epping Oval


Junior License Sunday 4 march 2-7, Sunday March 11 2-7 and Thursday March 15 6-10.  All sessions are at West Epping. Register Here

Senior License Sunday 18 March 8-5 (North Ryde oval), Sunday 1 April 8-5 (North Ryde oval) and Tuesday 3 April 6-10 (Christie Park). Register Here

The players FFA number is the key reference used by the Club, Association, Football NSW and the FFA. Take note of the player FFA number

Date/Times of Operation: 12pm - 9pm AEST Monday – Friday between 3rd January and May 2012.

New players will need to presents proof of age to the registrar. Senior players claiming student status must present current student ID to the registrar.

 

Payment can be made via EFT (details provided during registration) or Cheque made payable to Eastwood St Andrews AFC. Make arrangements with the registrar for the delivery of cheques.

 

Club socks and shorts will need to be picked up prior to the start of the season.

We are one of the largest clubs in Gladesville-Hornsby District with teams from Under 6 to Premier League.

We cater for all standards of ability and provide weekly coaching for teams on Eastwood Oval in preparation for Saturday matches that are held at various grounds throughout the district (as per the GHFA draw - released end of March 2012).

 

NB. Club colours must be worn by players during games. Club socks and shorts are included in your registration fee for Under 6 players. Club shocks are included for Under 7 to Under 10 players. All other grades will be required to purchase Club shorts and socks. Socks and shorts will be able available on Registration days.

 

Mini Football - Small Sided Football

When registering for Small Sided Football - Under 6, Under 7, Under 8, Under 9 and Under 10 age groups - parents are encouraged to arrange the friendship groups into teams before you register. Note that the Small Sided Football is aimed at ensuring maximum participation (Under 6, 7 and 8 are 'non competitive'. Under 9 and 10 play for accumulated points) environment. Where the development of player abilities and enjoyment are paramount.

Also note that children cannot be registered in a lower age group, i.e. an Under 7 player cannot be registered as an Under 6 player.

Football NSW have changed their player insurance coverage. Players from under 6 to under 18 are at the student rate. Only players who can show Student ID cards on registration day can claim to be students. All other Senior players are considered as employed. These changes are reflected in the 2012 player fees.


Age group for all teams is determined by the age the player turns in 2012. For example, players who turn 9 between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2012 play under 9 this year.

The Club will provide each player in the Under 9 to Under 10 grade with one pair of socks after payment of fees.

Club coloured shorts and socks are available for purchase from the canteen on Registration day.

Additional club coloured shorts and socks can be purchased throughout the season from Eastwood St Andrews.

A family rate applies for 3 players or more Junior players. For 3 family members registered, the youngest junior member fees are halved. A family of 4 will have the youngest junior member registered for free. The family discount does not apply to members that are all registering in senior squads

Players are required to provide their own boots, shin pads and club coloured shorts (shorts available for purchase through the club). Eastwood St Andrews provides the team shirts as part of the team kit.
